    Owner:
Estes Hills Elementary School, Estes Drive, Entrance, Chapel Hill, North Carolina 27514
    Remarks:
Funded mostly by a grant from the Orange County Arts Commission and by the Morse Fund, a fund created as a tribute to Wil and Edna Morse, two former Chapel Hill residents. Smaller donations came from the Estes Hills PTA and from private contributions. The total cost came to $1,159.83. Norma Bradley led the Estes Hills students in the creation of the sculpture. Bill Ray sawed and joined the timbers forming the square frame. The sculpture reflects some of the fabric of Chapel Hill life and culture. IAS files contain part of a booklet accompanying the sculpture, including a list of expenses and donors' contributions.
