    Remarks:
Funded by the Minority Ethnic and Neighborhood Arts, a program of the Minneapolis Arts Commission. This artwork, the result of two art projects in 1991 and 1992, reflects the ethnic backgrounds of the teenage artists. Marilyn Lindstrom was the Project Director. Baron Lewis and Walter Griffin served as artists and project coordinators. IAS files include the text of the nearby commemorative plaques which list the project's participants and financial supporters, and an excerpt from the book "Monumental Minnesota," by Moira Harris ([St. Paul]: Pogo Press, 1992, pg. 51).
