    Remarks:
IAS files contain an excerpt from meeting minutes, August 2, 1971, approving the design of this sculpture for Candlestick Park. IAS files also contain an article from the San Francisco Chronicle, Dec. 2, 1986, which notes that when the sculpture was installed in 1972, the architect and builder of Candlestick Park decided to eliminate the six-foot, gold halo. After an eighteen-month controversy, the halo was added to the sculpture.
