Blessed Virgin Mary, (sculpture). Artist:  Unknown, sculptor. Boileau, Ulric, architect. Title:  Blessed Virgin Mary, (sculpture). Dates:  Installed late 1920s or early 1930s. Description:  A sculpture of the Virgin Mary, dressed in a tunic and wrapped outer garment, stands with her proper left hand placed on her chest while her proper right hand holds a scepter down by her side. The Virgin Mary wears an elaborate crown upon her head. Subject:  Religion -- New Testament -- Mary Dress -- Accessory -- Hat Object -- Other -- Scepter Object Type:  Outdoor Sculpture -- New Hampshire -- Hudson Architectural component Sculpture Owner:  Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, Presentation of Mary Academy, 182 Lowell Road, In niche in fifth story of main entrance facade, Hudson, New Hampshire 03051 Remarks:  Construction of the Academy began in 1925 and it opened for use in 1926. Ulric Boileau of Montreal was the architect. The sculpture was installed in its present location sometime in the late 1920's and the early 1930's.
