Description:
Civil War soldier in uniform stands at parade rest. He holds the barrel of his rifle with both hands, and its butt is on the ground by his proper right side. His uniform includes a cap and a coat. He stands atop a tall obelisk on square pedestal and base, with inscriptions and relief decorations, including crossed rifles, crossed swords, and medals.
