    Remarks:
The panels are reproductions from the original 6th century B.C. friezes owned by the British Museum. The original friezes are from the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. The panels were selected by Augustus Saint-Gaudens from Caproni & Brother's "Catalogue of Plaster Cast Reproductions", (Boston, 1901 edition.) The panels were polychromed by Faulkner and Beckington and were installed by Saint-Gaudens on the Little Studio at Cornish, NH. The polychrome finish on the panels was restored in 1981 by Nick Isaak.
