Description:
A memorial consisting of a shaft with a color bearer on top and four military figures standing on pillars at the corners of the base. The color bearer stands at ease, holding a flag with his proper left hand and a sword with his proper right hand. The four figures standing at the base represent the four branches of the military. They include a sailor, a cavalryman, an infantryman, and an artilleryman. The sailor stands wearing a cap, his proper right hand raised to his forehead. The cavalryman wears a cap, gloves, and riding boots. The artilleryman holds a cannon stopper in his proper right hand.
