Description:
Two full-length female figures representing the Goddess of Justice. Each holds the handle of a sword in her proper right hand; the tip of the blade rests on the ground beside her feet. Each figure holds up a scale in her proper left hand and wears a classically styled gown. The zinc figures are mounted high atop a courthouse building.

The sculpture was originally installed on the Coryell County Courthouse in 1897-1898. It was restored in 1991 as part of the courthouse renovation project. IAS files contain copies of related architects' drawings.
