Digital Reference:  Medium:  Metal fountain in a painted concrete and cement basin. Dimensions:  Central figure: approx. H. 8 ft. Diam. 4 ft. 8 in.; Cherubs: each approx. H. 2 ft.; Fountain basin: approx. H. 2 1/2 ft. Diam. 18 in. (5,000 lbs.). Inscription:  (Plaque on outer edge of basin:) FROM THE WOMEN/OF GALENA/MAY 30TH 1891 Description:  A female figure, raised on a tier in the center, holds a pole supporting a second tier which sprays water out of the top. "In the ground basin surrounding the center piece are 4 small cherubs, each representing the nude form of a boy seated on a rock and holding aloft a shell, from which the spray issues."
