Description:
A female figure, raised on a tier in the center, holds a pole supporting a second tier which sprays water out of the top. "In the ground basin surrounding the center piece are 4 small cherubs, each representing the nude form of a boy seated on a rock and holding aloft a shell, from which the spray issues."

IAS files contain typed transcription of text from Galena Gazette article (May 2, 1891), which gives description of fountain, detailed dimensions, and funding, purchasing information. Design was chosen by the Ladies Auxiliary. C. C. Baker supervised the construction of the fountain basin.
