Description:
Elongated nude family group of four figures stands on a round base surrounded by shrubbery. The elongated figures stand in a circle. The parents face each other, a male child stands in the front and a baby is crooked in the woman's proper left arm. Both children reach to touch each parent, forming a closed circle.

Remarks:
Commissioned by the Gengras Family in memory of E. Clayton Gengras, a Connecticut businessman and one-time gubernatorial candidate. The cost was $75,000. Twenty fourteen-inch versions were commissioned by the University of Connecticut Health Center in 1985 to give to donors who contributed $500,000 or more to the Health Center. IAS files include related articles from the Hartford Courant, Aug. 2, 1985, Sept. 9, 1988, Sept. 10, 1988 and Sept. 12, 1988 and the Bristol Press, Sept. 12, 1988.
