Remarks:
The sculpture cost between $4,000 and $5,000. It was designed by engineers in the landscape architect firm of Henry Wilhelmi, architect of the new Genesse Country Mall. The sculpture was fabricated by Artistic Metal Works of Buffalo. Because of controversy over its abstract nature, the sculpture was moved in November 1991 to Genesee Community College. IAS files contain a related article from the Daily News (Batavia, NY), April 11, 1984, pg. 1.
