    Description: 
    A Bighorn sheep ram stands on rocks above an ewe and lamb below. The ewe is positioned as if climbing down a rocky ledge. The lamb stands on the proper left side of the ewe and nuzzles against her neck.

    Remarks: 
    Ostermiller was commissioned by the Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority. Miniatures of the sculpture were sold to finance the $48,500 masterwork. Assisting in the installation of the piece were streetscape project manager Dave Duclos of Design Studios West and EPURA technical planner Bob Joseph. IAS files contain related newsclippings from Trail Gazette (Estes Park, CO) July 17, 1987, pg. 12 and December 2, 1987, and brochure illustrating miniature reproductions. Piece possibly cast by Art Castings of Colorado.
