Two benches, sitting on thin steel plates embedded in cement with grouting all around. Each bench is rectangular with a half circle at each end.

Each bench was cut from a single block of granite from the quarry of the Rock of Ages Corporation in Vermont. Commissioned by the University of Houston for its new School of Architecture building. Maquette presented to the President's Art Committee and approved in 1985. Funded by the University of Houston's Percent for Art program. Artist signed in grouting of foundation.
