    Description: 
    Depicts a full-scale replica of a man in 1930's dress with long-sleeved shirt rolled to elbows, beside the front left fender of a 1931 Model A Ford. He is depressing a tire pump to inflate the front left tire. His hat, jacket, and scarf are draped across the hood. Inside the car is a young boy sitting on the driver's side seat, with hands on the steering wheel.

    Statue pays tribute to Arvin Industries, which originated as Indianapolis Air Pump Co. J. Seward Johnson completed the figures; Phil Allison of Allison Corp. did the restoration and weatherization of the 1931 Ford Model A Coupe.
