He points with his proper right arm, which is extended straight out from his body. In the lower left corner of the panel is part of a water wheel. The water flowing from the jug is pouring down over the wheel.
The center panel depicts a nude male figure draped with a cloth. He kneels on his proper right knee. His proper right arm is extended behind him. In his proper right hand he holds a torch with a large bulb where the flame would be. Rays of light emit from the bulb. His head is turned back to look at the light.
The panel on the right depicts a nude male figure kneeling on his proper left knee in front of a large vertical wheel or turbine. He reaches out in front with his proper left arm and grasps a mechanism connected to the wheel. His back is turned out and his proper right arm is bent behind him.
