    Description: 
    Three figures and a dove, carved in bas-relief on white marble panels, inset against the red brick of the building's facade. In the center pediment-shaped panel, a full-length, standing figure reaches with his arms above his head to the peak; a dove flies above his head. Flanking him on each of the side panels is a single seated figure, with legs outstretched.

    Remarks: 
    The title, "The Dream of Happiness," was derived from a Chinese fortune cookie saying. The sculpture was funded through Maine's Percent for Art program at a cost of $8,700. IAS files contain statement by the artist dated December 6, 1988.
