Whitmer Assoc. was the engineering firm; and Lawrence Belardi was the general contractor. Nearby plaque reads: "The Wild Line"/Sheila Wyne/In collaboration with Don Mohr/Copper plated steel/Artist's statement:/"This work springs first from the formal, restrained/architecture of the building itself. I imagined a line which,/when released from this tension, might spring loose into/unpredictable dimensions. The sculpture also reflects my/own memory of teenage transition - playfulness inter-/woven in the inflexible requirements of coming of age."/1% for Art/Municipality of Anchorage/1990.
