    Description: 
    Bas-relief incorporated into the facade of the fire station depicts a male firefighter and an old-fashioned fire wagon. The figure is in the foreground, disproportionately larger than the wagon. He wears an old-style uniform with hat and has a moustache and curly hair. The wagon seems to be in motion. The steam chamber and right wheels are visible.

    Remarks: 
    Commissioned by the City of Tulsa under the One Percent for Art Program for $7,000. Mara Smith did the brick design work; Wayne Underwood was the bricklayer. The installation was down under the supervision of architect A. Blaine Imel of Imel & Graber. The mural is lit from below with two footlights installed on the facade. The fire station received a nomination to the Oklahoma Landmarks Inventory.
