    Description: 
    A full-length figure of a Civil War soldier standing at parade rest. He has a moustache and is in uniform, wearing a cap and a coat with a short cape. The soldier grasps the barrel of his rifle with both hands at chest level, the stock resting by his proper right foot. A bayonet and case are attached to the proper left side of the soldier's waist. The sculpture is mounted on a square, stepped concrete base with an upper granite pedestal.
