Description:
Six carved blocks assembled as a totem pole contain collages of figures, faces, animals, flowers, dominoes, abstract designs and other images. The images record the daily experiences and school traditions of students at an arts magnet high school.

Remarks:
Sculpture is a collaborative effort of students at the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, a magnet school. Sandy Stein was the sculptor and consultant; Patsy Eldridge was the classroom instructor. The sculpture was exhibited at the Dallas Museum of Natural History, Fair Park, with the "Ramses the Great" exhibition in the summer of 1989.
