    Description: 
    A doughboy stands holding his gun in front of him with both hands, proper right over proper left. The butt of the gun is on the ground in front of his feet. He wears a helmet, and carries a knapsack with a bedroll on his back. The sculpture is mounted on a base consisting of an upper, rectangular brick section and a lower, tiered, concrete section. The sculpture is placed in the center of a traffic circle.
