    Gift of Mrs. M. C. Yawkey in memory of her friends Mr. & Mrs. Charles Wesley Grant. The cost was $800. The Grants were early settlers in Saginaw and it was Mr. Grant who named and located Forest Lawn Cemetery at its present site. IAS files contain excerpts from the "Records of Saginaw Board of Park and Cemetery Commission," 1911-1912, pg. 45, 59, 61, 107-109; clippings from Saginaw Courier-Herald, including May 7, 1912; and excerpt from International Studio, LXVIII.
