    Description: 
    Figure group of a woman and sleeping boy. Both are resting on the ground, their legs curled up in front of them. The boy rests with his head on the woman's lap. His hand is tucked under his chin. The woman's proper right elbow leans on the boy's shoulder and her head rests on her proper right hand. The bronze sculpture sits on a round concrete base.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was included in a collection of gifts given to the university in the early 1900's by Mrs. Charles W. Hickox of Michigan City. The sculpture was inspired by Belgian refugees the sculptor had observed during World War I.
