A sculpture of St. Vincent de Paul, a French priest who was the saint for charity to the poor and sick. In France, around 1817 he founded the Sisters of Charity which is now the Ladies of Charity. De Paul wears long robes and a skull cap. He stands holding a baby to his chest in his proper left arm. He extends his proper right hand out to the side, palm up. A small child stands in front of St. Vincent and grasps his robes. The child wears loose trousers and shirt and no shoes. The child looks down and to the proper left. The sculpture hangs from the wall and is placed about two feet above the ground.
