    (On top of self base, proper right rear corner:) John Angel 1931 signed
    Description: 
    A full-length figure of St. Paul, barefoot and dressed in long robes, caught in a pose of addressing an unseen audience, with his proper right hand raised, palm outward. St. Paul has a beard, mustache, and long hair. His proper left foot is raised on its toes, as if he is about to stride forward. With his proper left hand, he grasps his robes near his proper left shoulder. He upper body is bent forward. The sculpture is set directly on the ground.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was originally located near the main entry to the Chapel and was a gift of alumni Charles D. Hart, a Philadelphia doctor. It was dedicated at the 75th anniversary of the school.
