Teaneck Jewish Center, 70 Sterling Place, On patio, in front of the Feldman Chapel, Teaneck, New Jersey 07666
Remarks:
The sculpture was designed and executed as a gift of the artist to the Center in memory of the Jewish soldiers of Israel who gave their lives in the Yom Kippur War. The sculpture is entitled "Netzach Yisrael" after a prayer from the First Book of
Samuel
which refers to the promise made by God not to forsake the people of Israel. Many abstract shapes suggestive of Jewish symbols and religious ideas are embodied in the sculpture.
