Description:
A woman stands with her arms upraised, wearing a long dress and a head covering. The figure is mounted upon a short, inscribed base and is surrounded a low, inscribed, semicircular wall with pylons at each end that flank the figure. On the top of one pylon is the top of a cathedral, and on the top of the other is the top of a temple. The figure is mounted over the graves of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Wolfe Bernheim and overlooks a stone, semicircular pool.

Donated by Isaac Wolfe Bernheim. Nearby plaque reads: Let There Be light/The bronze figure/by the American sculptor George Grey Barnard expresses God's command "Let There be Light."/The granite pylons represent the Jewish and Christian religions./May light, the symbol of life and truth, illumine the paths of good citizenship,/and reason, tolerance and fairness guide/our relationship with fellow men.
