    Description: 
    The bronze discus thrower is about to release the discus, his feet apart, knees slightly bent. His proper right arm is extended back behind his body, holding the discus; his proper left arm is bent at the elbow and extends in front of his chest. The strong muscular figure is dressed in shorts.
