Description:
An abstract of a skier in a down hill position on a sloping base. The skier is shown with knees bent, head down, and body stooped over and turned to the proper right. In each hand is a ski pole, the proper right pole is set forward and the proper left pole is set to the rear.

Remarks:
The sculpture was originally located at the Mount Tecumseh Ski Area at the foot of Valley Run. It was moved to its present location in 1989. The sculpture is now trimmed with miniature Christmas tree lights. IAS files contain a copy of an excerpt from David Ruell's typescript, "The Public Sculpture of New Hampshire," Concord, NH: New Hampshire Historical Society, 1980, pg. 268-270.
