    Bust of Albert Pike with some Masonic regalia rests on a limestone pedestal at the top of the grand staircase leading to the temple room.

    Remarks: 
    Albert Pike was the patriarch of modern day freemasonry, and served as Sovereign Grand Commander from 1859-1891. Ulrich Stonewall Jackson Dunbar was a mason and a member of the Albert Pike Lodge #36. He was buried with Masonic honors at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery just outside of Washington, D.C. in Prince Georges County, Maryland.
