    Group portrait of Edouard Pailleron (b. 1865) and Marie-Louise Pailleron (1870-1950). Marie-Louise is seated facing forward, with her hands on the bench at either side of her. She wears a white dress. Edouard is seated at the left, with his legs behind the bench, his body turned toward his sister, and his head turned toward the viewer. One hand is on his leg, the other on the bench. He wears a dark suit with a bow tie.
