holding the reins of his horse with his proper left hand and a pair of field glasses with his proper right hand.

, bearded and dressed in a military uniform that consists of knee-length coat and a brimmed hat, sits in the saddle with a bedroll behind him. The horse stands with all four legs planted on the ground. The statue is placed atop a rectangular base with rounded ends that are decorated with carved garlands.
