    Remarks:
Originally commissioned by Thomas McGrath, a Cincinnati saloon owner, for his home in Avondale. Because of residential dislike of the statue, McGrath gave the bust to St. Bernard, in the 1890s, where it stood before the St. Bernard City Hall. The bust was relocated to Rose Avenue Park when the new City Hall opened in 1974.
