Remarks:
The Memorial Wall was created in honor of the three
Jackson
brothers who established The Renaissance Center. Dr. L. C.
Jackson
began his medical practice in a small medical clinic in Dickson, Tennessee. He was later joined by his brothers Dr. Jimmy
Jackson
and Dr.
William
Jackson
, and the medical practice expanded to neighboring counties. In 1958 the brothers built Goodlark Hospital which was sold in 1995 to Columbia/HCA. In an effort to continue aiding the local community, the brothers established The
Jackson
Foundation, Inc. and in 1999 built The Renaissance Center, a fine arts and technology learning center for students of all ages.
