holding his gloves in his proper left hand and his helmet in his proper right hand. Around his neck is a medallion with a picture of the Virgin Mary. The sculpture rests atop a tall square granite base. On the front of the granite base is a bronze relief plaque adorned with an eagle and an American flag.

The inscription on a bronze plaque located on a granite marker in the ground in front of the sculpture reads: FEDERICI PARK/Named in honor of Gaetano Federici 1880-1964, Paterson's famous Italian-American Sculptor. He was able to capture the hearts and spirit of our city and its people in his world famous works. The moving of his
