    Description: 
    A standing portrait of George Rogers Clark dressed in his military uniform holding a rifle in front of him with both hands grasping the barrel. This three-dimensional portrait of Clark emerges from a block adorned with reliefs on the sides and back. On the left is a relief of a Kentucky rifleman and on the right is a relief of a Shawnee Indian seated with a pipe. The back of the sculpture has a relief which depicts Tecumseh showing a young Native American how to use a bow and arrow. The sculpture rests atop a tall base placed in the center of a circular concrete foundation. The Great Seal of the United States appears on the right side of the base and the Great Seal of Ohio appears on the left side of the base.

    Remarks: 
    The memorial was erected by the Clark County Historical Society and the State of Ohio. It is installed on the site of the Battle of Piqua. The SOS! survey notes that the sculpture is made of metal, but the Campen publication notes that it is made of stone.
