    Remarks: 
    Francis Asbury was a pioneering bishop in Richmond. The plaque is installed on the wall of what was once the site of the Methodist Episopal Church, where Asbury preached his last sermon.
    The inscription on a small plaque mounted below the relief reads: Dedicated by the Methodists of Richmond, Virginia Oct 27, 1921 The One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of His Landing in America. IAS files contain a newspaper article from the Richmond News-Leader, Oct. 27, 1921.
