    Commissioned by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1896. "The flags were place in Doric Hall, and in 1900 were relocated in Memorial Hall, the Hall of Flags. Battle flags from the Revolutionary War, the Spanish American War, and World War I have since been added."
