Dimensions:  Sculpture: approx. 78 x 48 x 48 in.; Base: approx. 5 x 60 x 60 in. Inscription:  unsigned Description:  This monolithic sculpture consists of three musicians playing instruments. The standing central figure plays a saxophone while the figure to his left plays a cello and the figure to his right plays a large round drum. The figures are very angular and are carved without a much detail. In 1959 when the band shell was torn down to make way for Bessey Hall, one of the sculptures was destroyed.
