    A man and woman are waltzing are cast in red, black, and green terrazzo inlay. The man's body and hair are colored black. The figures dance on an outlined red and green floor. The figures are outlined in 1/4 inch bronze bar.

    Funded with a National Endowment for the Arts, Art in Public Places grant of $20,000 given in 1985 to The Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design. The sculpture is one of three mini-monuments that the artist created to recall the literature of Raymond Chandler. IAS files contain excerpt from Aldolfo V. Nodal's "How the Arts Make a Difference," Los Angeles: Hennessey & Ingalls, 1989, pg. 37-38, 84-89.
