    Remarks:
The installation is a result of the 1984 Seattle Arts Commission publication, "Artwork/Network, a Planning Study for Seattle: Art in the Civic Context". Funding for the project was provided by the Seattle City Light One Percent for Art. The "Wall of Death" is an historic reference to a carnival spectacle from the early 20th century, which featured motorcyclists racing on the sides of a vertical cylinder. IAS files contain copy of project description.
