Description:
A portrait of Sam Sloan, dressed in a ruffled shirt and a long, buttoned knee-length coat. He stands with his proper left hand resting atop a low pillar topped with sheets of paper, while his proper right hand is placed at his proper right midriff. The figure is placed atop a base that is decorated at its upper front and sides with a garland-like design. The statue is placed within a raised garden area.
