Dimensions:  Sculpture: approx. 8 1/2 ft. x 4 ft. 11 in. x 26 in.; Base: approx. 3 ft. 6 in. x 1 ft. 7 in. x 1 ft. 8 in. Inscription:  (Artist's signature on lower right side of top right steel box) signed Description:  Abstract sculpture consisting of an open, twined archway ending in steel boxes. The steel archway is intertwined with chunks of semi-precious stones. The boxes are hollow and the sides are etched and cut-out with images of Venice. Scenes on the boxes include: gondolas and driver; St. Marco Cathedral; waterfront scene with buildings and bridge; the cathedral and central plaza; street scene with motorbike; and a water scene with residences and gondolas. The boxes, two on each side of the arch, sit on steel square bases on top of cedar bases. The boxes are lighted from within to view the cutout scenes.
