Description:  A full-length standing figure of athlete Mildred "Babe" Zaharias, depicted swinging a golf club. Her arms are raised to her proper left holding a golf club (now missing). Her legs somewhat twisted with her proper left heel raised. She wears a cap, jacket, and calf-length, pleated skirt. The sculpture has a rectangular base and is mounted upon a short, circular, polished granite base with paneled sides.
