    Description: 
    A bust of Lieutenant Commander Thomas O. Selfridge Jr. in military uniform with a mustache and muttonchops, wearing a visored cap and an overcoat. The bust is mounted upon a two-sectioned base with two inscribed plaques on the upper front, and is set upon a square foundation.

    Remarks: 
    Erected by his family, the monument commemorates Civil War Lieutenant Commander Thomas O. Selfridge, Jr. The monument is on the National Park Service List of Classified Structures (LCS no. 03340). IAS files contain a copy of the LCS report form. Bronze cost $1,250 and pedestal cost $210 paid by family.
