    Remarks:
The sculpture was commissioned by Lieut. Col. Andrews' children. Andrews was a Baltimore architect who led the First Maryland Light Artillery division of the Confederate army. There is a conflict in name of the battle between news accounts, which list the location as Stephenson's Depot, and SOS! report and plaque, which list the location as Stephen's depot. Sculpture underwent restoration prior to SOS! survey. Restoration work was done by Alan Tischler. IAS files contain transcriptions of names listed on plaques. IAS files contain copies of related articles from Winchester Star Dec. 3 and 4, 1920.
