    Remarks:
IAS files contain a copy of David Marshall's, "The Jewel of Providence," Providence, RI: Providence Parks Department, 1987. This is a copy of a marble original located at the Louvre in Paris, France. Marshall's text indicates work was gift in 1891, which conflicts with base plaque which says work was presented in 1894.
