The bust is mounted upon a two-sectioned base with plaques, and set upon a foundation. Herron. The bust was moved from its original site to make room for Pemberton Mall. Monument is located on land that was formerly property of Vicksburg National Military Park. Erected by the federal government. The monument is on the National Park Service List of Classified Structures (LCS no. 03322). IAS files contain a copy of the LCS report form.
