    Description: 
    Bronze bust of a female World War II nurse. Her head is turned slightly to the proper right. She wears a uniform and army cap. The sculpture rests on a concrete column which ends in a square base.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture is one in a series of eleven busts of soldiers done by the artist representing each of the major wars in which America has been involved. Cost of the sculpture was about $15,000. Funds for the sculpture came from donations. IAS files contain copy of related article from The Star, Aug. 4, 1993 and copy of related Hospital information sheet.
