Inscription:  (Top front corners of foundation, incised lettering:) Arvid/Christopherson Principal/1951 1977/(symbol)/79 unsigned Description:  A group of children centered around an adult figure representing school principal Arvid Christopherson. Five children hold hands and form a ring around the adult figure, while another child sits on his shoulders with her hands wrapped around his face. All figures are generic and have undefined facial features. The sculpture is mounted upon a square foundation that contains imprints of children's handprints and artwork.
